Question I forgot to....

wax my car after i clayed it. it was clayed last night, and it is now to late to do it tonite. i am a moron, anyways...have i pretty much ruined the effect of the clay? it hasnt rained or anything so i think im ok. what should i do now, just wash and wax or re-clay it??

Wash it, make sure it's clean then wax it. You should be ok. If it doesn't feel smooth after the wash, clay it again...won't hurt it.

I will be getting clay for my car as well. NEVER done anything like this. Are there things I need to be aware of when I use it? Weather, (I don't have a shaded area at my house).

Any advice?

Just make sure you keep the paint you're claying at that time nice and lubricated, and gently slide the clay over it. If you drop the bar, throw it out because it'll pick up bits of dirt and grit and scratch your paint all to hell.
