Looking for SVT cold air intake
Hey, I have a 2001 ZX3 and I'm looking for a Zetec Cold air intake that will fit it.... im hear this will help to improve the sound of the car?

An SVT intake won't fit your 2001 ZX3. You will need to look for a just a Zetec CAI. You will get a different sound and maybe pick up a little horsepower.

The SVT intake box does fit the regular zetec. It is a direct swap. You will want the larger SVT snorkle as well, as the lower air box opening for the snorkle is differently shaped for the SVT, plus you want the advantage of the larger snorkle anyway.
If interested, I have a brand new SVT airbox and snorkle. I'm on vacation for the next 2 weeks though, so I won't be able to ship it till I get back. As far as sound difference goes, there is little. Also a K&N air filter or like type performance air filter is necessary to pick up the few ponies. Let me know if you are interested.
