terrible track times

i went to the track last night started out with a 17.3...started getting better launches the best NA run i pulled off was a 16.5 and and with a 75 shot of nitrous i only managed a 15.8 what gives? everyone else on here says they r running low to mid 15s stock and i know my launch cant be that bad

Moved to the drag racing forum.

The SVT is not a drag car, the gearing in the transmission is really not setup for it. Serious boost can get nice times but even nitrous can't really help without going nuts with it.

i know the gearing isnt great for drags and i didnt have the best launch but my times should of been better especially my nitrous run

yeah something is up I ran a 17.6 with my 01 auto zx3. Those heavy ass eap's aint helping trust me I know I have em on mine when I went too. But they look to nice to take off just to get a few extra tenths ya know.

The first half of the track is killing you. Your 8th should be less than 10 easily. Your 60 should be less than 2.4.

Are you shifting at redline?

something is def wrong. expecially with a 75shot your trap speed should be alot higher then 6mph over n/a.

I would say N/A with ur mods you should be good for ATLEAST a low to mid 15sec pass.

Are you launching at 3k? Trac off? do you have 300lbs of stereo equipment? is ur clutch grabbing? man i feel for u something is def up.

im gonna try to work on my launch some more and see if i can get her running a bit better and get a wideband for better tuning and see what happens
