Lets see those HOME GYMS!!!!!!!

Well folks here recently I've gotten serious about lifting again and I've pieced together my own Home gym (actually its in the garage) and I thought since I've never seen a home gym thread I would start one.

Feast your eyes on this.............

YORK Barbell PowerCage with Upper and Lower Pulley attachments











PowerBlocks 5-130 pound apiece dumbell set




Assorted attachments and equipment






And of course a "few" extra 45# plates




In total I have 12-45's, 4-35's, 4-25's and a bunch of 10's, 5's and 2.5's... 2-7ft Olympic bars, 1 Olympic curl bar... and various other attachments.

Also take note of the floor... that is 3/4" thick rubber stall mats (the kind that goes in barns) for added protection of the floor for when I start doing Olympic style lifts next week.

Not too shabby IMO.

nice set up man...

i don't have a pic of mine... and my garage is cluttered!!!

but i have a bench press station alot like yours, just slightly different...

the bow-flex select a weight dumbells..

and a punching bag, forget the weight, ill have to check...

my garage is puny... but i do have carpet!!! because no cars fit in it...

Sweetness, good to see another weight lifter... anyway..
I'm at the gym 4 days a week, but this is what I have at home for when I don't have time. I also do 100 pushups a day with weight on my back. I usually use the backpack for pullups too. (That's right, you don't need expensive equipment to get into shape)

I really like your power cage.

I've got a cheap weider squat rack, a bench, a 7 foot olympic bar, 6 45 pound plates, 2 35s, 2 25s, 2 10s, 4 5s, 4 2.5s, 2 1.25s, a dip/pullup tower, 2 65lb pound dumbbells, 2 55lb dbs, 2 50lb dbs, 2 45lb dbs, 2 40lb dbs, 2 35lb dbs, 4 25lb dbs, and a homemade wooden box for box squats.

I have no pictures and my camera is broken.

^^ I agree, as if it wasn't enough that you have a kickass garage with a lift, you go and add a kickass home gym to it as well? LOL

That's a nice setup and it doesn't seem to take up very much room at all.

That was the only place I could put it and maintain maximum usable garage space.

Ill have to snap some pics this weekend of my home gym. I have a little home gym up here at college. 2 dumbbells, some resistance ropes, and a jump rope. No pull-up bar atm.
