Do not get any sort of transmission work done here. I had a clutch replaced at 7k miles because it's the car I learned 5 speed on (2008 focus coupe). Now at 15k miles, it is obvious the seal where the axle boot meets the trnasmission was damaged during the clutch repair, and it caused a slow leak, and I now have to replace the whole transmission. However, instead of admitting their fault, they have made false accusations and will not cover the damage, which totals $3,000.

Thank you Miracle Ford, after purchasing 3 of our family's vehicles from you, they will all be serviced elsewhere.

hell ya, i used to work at a ford dealer, if they give you prblms call ford. they'll call the dealer and then ur ass will be kissed, lol. make em eat it

I love how they said you abuse your car. Obviously they don't know you. Your car is till under warranty so I would tell them to suck it. Plus a phone call and a complaint with the better business bureau won't hurt either. Also when you talk to the general manager tell them when you picked your car up they just threw the keys at you. I'll take my car to the Mazda dealership before I go back to ford.

Take it to another dealership and have their service department investigate it. You might get preferred results going that route. If they find that it was the other dealerships fault they will perform the warranty work for you instead.

i learned a clutch on a jetta and it didnt rape it. and trust me it should have. the clutch should go longer than 7k anyway

You burned a stock clutch at 7K? No offense, but wtf, did you ride it the whole time? I can't see that happening with normal driving, even for a total beginner. If anything, I would expect your synchros to be shot.

Yeah, my friend has owned 2 05 Focuses and he rides it hard back and forth to work every day, 30 minutes to get to work and 30 minutes back, no damage or any problems. Unless you went Tokyo Drifting with it or something it probably wasn't your fault.
