warneej's epic continuation build thread for the ZX3

Gonna be driving the race car up to Carlisle in a few weeks for the All-Ford Nationals and Focus Rising 2012 so thought it'd be about time to start yet another prep countdown.

Looks as though we'll be heading out Wednesday, May 30th this time to make it up there Friday some time.

Bunch of stuff to do as the car has been run hard over the last year to get it up to snuff.


Finally out of the garage after being out of service for 7 weeks due to my broken shifter hand.

To do:

-Fix front bumper, been sagging a little bit plus a few chips and whatnot.
-Re-do grilles and underbody tray, found a company in Tampa that makes OEM quality mesh and have a few ideas plus the underbody tray has seen a few obstacles in its days and is pretty wrecked.
-Lower it another inch.
-Get some audio in there, been running full race-car for over a year but probably going to reinstall the amp with a line-in for Pandora and junk.
-Flush brake lines
-Oil change-DONE
-Replace fog lamps as they are shattered.
-Detail the $#!+ out of it.
-New car show info board.

I imagine more to come as the time progresses.

No reason not to show, it doesn't cost much to get in and it gets you passes for 2 people!

Anyways I got a lot of work done Sunday, got the front end lowered and am quite happy with the ride height.



Hadn't been apart since like 06, I was amazed at how easy everything came undone. I <3 FL and no rust :D

Also ordered the new fogs this morning. Hopefully they look right...

And I bought a new serpentine belt and fuel filter today and will be installing tomorrow.
