These are really good suggestions. Wait on the wheels and get you technique down first. I've had a lot of practice but still I need practice runs to get it right. Also that night I dropped a whole sec just by switching rims and tires. But the track was very slick while I'm sure they helped alot but alot could be driver also. I can tell a difference though with them on I'm just not sure if it's a definite sec drop just like that. Or in case it won't drop you a whole sec. But a few tenths for sure. In your case of course.

I say with a header alone you should be able to do atlease 17.4XX. Me and you have almost the same mods but I have header, throttle body, svt intake with k&n filter, and 2.3'' exhaust instead of 2.5''. I ran a 17.243 @ 80.48 mph with the mods I have. But I also didnt take out my spare tire, my 153 piece tool set and 10''sub with box and amp.

Yea. Myabe get your tires in the water one time and see what happens. I got one tire in the water and floored the gas in 1st gear and jerked the steering wheel back and forth just to get the water off. I ended up running a faster time by .460.

He has an ATX, Get a tune. Best mod for an ATX. It changes shift points and lets you add more fuel for all the air your letting through with your mods. Your really not making any more horsepower with mods without a tune.
