Well damn. My Alpine unit fits nice side to side with that Metra kit, but top to bottom there is probably a 1/4" gap that looks terrible. You would think all double dins would be the same.

Does anyone else have any experience with this kit? I'm thinking about getting the JVC KW-XR610 for the Focus, but I'm concerned about trimming the dash bezel (I'd rather not). It is this stereo:

KW-XR610

Any experience you guys could offer with this kit would be great. Thanks.

i had the gap also on the top i trimmed the kit to fit the dd and then fiber glassed and bondoed it
