May have no choice
How bad will a Hoosier 225/45/17 rub with a stock SVT suspension? I have used Kuhmo V710's in that size without problem. The issue is the used tire dealer I go though is not seeing V710's this year or 40 series Hoosiers. Got plenty of 45's though. So if I have to run that size how bad will it be?

I didn't have a problem running that size in the Falken Azenis RT-615.
 http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=84742 ^^^Stock suspension and wheels. What wheels are you going to use? That's probably the biggest factor.

True, but so do the RT-615s.
 They ran wider, yet shorter than your average run of the mill 225/45/17. Got specs on the Hoosiers?

Was told by the dealer today same height as the V710's (in 225/45/17) but a little wider. Ordered today any way to hopefully have for this weekend. And the Kuhmo's were almost the same height as me street 215/45/17,s. Will know soon in any case.

Came and had them mounted. A wide tire! Test fit a no rubbing while parked, find out tomorrow how they do around the cones.
