2000 ford focus lx reverse light and rear fog light not working

hi i've just had my focus lx serviced and i was told that the reversing light and rear fog light are not working.I've checked the fuses, bulbs and electrical connections but everything seems ok. Can anyone help me find out what could be wrong as i'm trying to avoid a hefty bill from an auto electrician.thanks

Only 1 thing left to check then, the reverse switch on the transmission. If it's a manual gearbox it will be on the top side of the trans, only electrical part around that area.
For the automatic I believe it's inside the transmission, but I'm not sure really.
Don't "think outside the box".
There is no box.
Do it correct, or do it twice.
