LED bulb questions
Ok, so I'm going to get bulbs from
http://www.hidxenonlights.com Looking at getting their kit that includes: LED swaps for Brake/Tail/parking(reverse) with LED License Plate bulbs.. and also the kit for replacing all main interior overhead lights with LED bulbs and do the same for the interior trunk light.. I also want to get LED bulbs for the side marker and front marker lights.. now a question.. i heard that if you install led in the turn signals in front and back.. they flash erratically? is that correct? What would be the best way to implement LED bulbs for turn signals as well? |

Yes you will need amber LEDs for your clear Euro lamps.
Make sure your LED kit includes some form of resistor/transformer that lowers the power input into the LEDs and raises it back up when leaving the LEDs. I bought LED bulbs for my brake lights and turn signals at the front. With one pair installed, the indicators flashed extra fast because the difference in power made the car think that a bulb had blown. Both pairs installed caused the dash indicator lights permanently glow :P So make sure there is a power converter built in somewhere!!! Or check all the reviews and see if any others had this problem :) |
