just came inside from cleaning my windshield from in the car and looked at my dome lights. i fantasized about what if they were a much whiter color. it'd be a much cleaner look IMO. so i think id like to replace the OEM dome light bulbs with an LED or something... just something thats pure white. but of course i do have questions. will i have to worry about anything malfunctioning in the future? would such a bulb be easily obtainable from a local auto store? and of course can someone point me to a bulb that best fits what i want? =) i dont really care about how bright it'd be i just want the pure white.

i have the 6k version of these. i believe 5k will be as white as your gonna get:) maybe someone else will chime in on their purchase. i have had mine in since march and zero problems to complain about!

I have four pairs of their 5k bulbs, pure white, no hint of blue whatsoever. I had some of their bulbs in my car going on three years now.

I also have those Vleds in mine. 5000k though. I hate 6000k

They are pure white and I haven't had any issues with them.
