My best run of the day from the first event I've done this year with my Focus since the turbo went in.

Please excuse the lack of editing. My computer sucks. The action starts at 1:40.

In case anyone is wondering, Paul's video above is the in-car of the course that I have posted a couple spots above his. Gives a nice overview of the Milwaukee site at Miller Park. Thanks!

I dorked this one up pretty bad. after my fastest run (which was only my second) I plowed through a gate in one run, then spun off the track. I didn't even bother finishing my runs after that. It was starting to rain anyway.
One thing I suspect is wrong, is the last time I got the car aligned, they set the rear toe out a bit. It was ok with street tires (though nervous on the road), but the r-comps make it more pronounced and really brings the back end around causing some massive oversteer, as evidenced by my second fail toward the end of the vid. I'm bringing it in on thurs for another alignment and having them set the rear toe to 0. We'll see what happens this week on base.

looked like a killer track Ken!! wish i could of made it out. but i'll see ya sunday on base!!
set your rear toe to "0" then set your front to 1/16" total toe out
some more neg. camber will do wounders too along with a small rear swaybar like 22mm.

tiff's finally getting her suspension next week-ish

yeah I went to firestone since I have the lifetime alignment. I told them specifically what I wanted (toe-out in front and 0 in the rear). Instead they gave me Toe-in in front and kept the toe-out in the rear! I was pissed! I'm gonna hit the alignment rack at the auto hobby shop and do it myself. grrr

My second outing in my SMF Focus. Still getting use to the turbo and the Torsen. But overall I was happy with my performance. 49th out of 127 overall and 2nd (only to a snowmobile powered F Mod) out of 5 in Open Combined (thats were they put all of the single entrant classes).

Looks good Paul--how is that event site? Almost went down...got busy with distractions.
