OK i stopped by my dealer and talked to them about what it was.... they may try to tell you that it is the splash guard in the well but it isn't that.... it is the Lower control arm that is doing it. that what fixed my popping... now i don't know if they will fix it with an Aftermarket suspension or not... i am still tryin to figure that out.

My 09 Focus Coupe has an odd ticking/rattling noise but it seems to be coming from the back of the car, to my ear at least. Could this have something to do with it?

while moving or idling?
if moving/idling no...... you could have your exhaust a little loose or heat shield or something like that.....

I just got my 09 back from the dealer yesterday for a rattle/squeak. They said there was a TSB for the e-brake cable (didn't get the #). But, it fixed it, no more rattle/squeak, even on speed bumps.

i got a cool flo intake on my 08'. You think i should chance trying to have them look at my car. I'm experiencing this squeaking noise as well. It sounds like garbage!or do u think they'll whine about it with my warranty? o_O

Shouldn't have any problem unless your dealer is a u-know-what. I have had some warranty work done recently with a few mods on my 09' the dealer didn't say anything.

My dealer has never had an issue with the suspension and chassis mods on my '09. On Tuesday, they did the endlink TSB upgrade and resurfaced my front brake rotors under warranty for nada.
