best place to mount tweeters??

im going out and getting some tweeters tomorrow and was wondering where the best place would be to install them. i was thinking putting them in the a pillar. one of my friends told me the best place to put them is in the door. where do u guys think the best place is to put them?

You can mount them on the A pillar but I dont think they will mount flush. It would look nice on the door.

yeah. it might be a little easier for wiring if i mounted them in the doors too.

If you tap into the stock wires, make sure you get some crossovers, most tweeters do come with them.

mount them in the mirror control box or around there. Otherwise in the A-piller is your best bet and you can get them flush with some work

I have a pair of tweeters mounted on the mirror control covers as well - currently they look a little awkward as they are not flush mounted and angled towards the driver. I'm really happy with it, but as I have a quite different set-up with 3 pair of tweeters, so other locations can work well.

As for the audiophile system I think they come only with two-way coaxial speakers, so they don't have separete tweeters.

Do you have power windows? If you dont then put them whee the power window switches would be if you did. I did that in my car and it looks really good.

yeah. ive got power windows. i was actually thinkin of puttin them in the mirror control box also. think they might look good there.
