Exclamation 2000 Focus Dash Removal

Pulling a dash to do an evap. Need advice from someone who has done one of these dashes before. Have everything out but can not get the two upper dash retaining clips in the defroster vent out. I have a m6 100mm bolt that screws in but do not know where to go from there. Pull out the bolt to pull the clip out? if so i have tried this and the bolt pulls out of the clip. Any info would be appreciated.

just figured i would give ya'll an update. the m6 bolt ford specifies for the removal of the upper dash retaining clips pulled right out of the clip on me. was able to remove the clips with a 1/4 28 bolt instead. FYI evap in this car is a pain in the ass...... worst i have done yet and i have done a few including sho's. the heater box is a freakin jigsaw puzzle.

Hey IBleedBlu,
I am about to pull my dash and replace my evaporator in my 2001 ZX3. Do you happen to have a step by step on how to to remove everything? There used to be one on the forum How-To, but the link is broken.
Thanks,
Mike
