Very nice swap you have there. Plan on doing the 4.6 swap from a Mark VIII into a Merkur or Focus.

Thanks for the kind words people. The car is a 2002 and when seen up close, it definitely starts to show its age. Believe it or not, I use this as my beater car I show up to some of the Socal FF and FJ meets and sometimes take this ride to Cars & Coffee or Supercar Sunday, I love the double-take people do when they walk by with the hood popped If any of you guys go to Focus on da Beach in August, I will definitely be there

For the forseeable future, the only major plans I have are adding sound insulation and probably replacing that torn-up steering wheel. Next year I'll be adding the F2 flares and throwing on 18x8 shoes to finish the exterior. The car's plenty fast (and loud) for a daily driver, forced induction would be nice but excessive for what I'm doing with this car, maybe in the future when I pick up another daily. Believe me when I get on the throttle over 4k rpm, I actually get more nervous in this car than in my turbocharged Lotus

I would love to throw remote twin turbos on this puppy due to reduced exhaust noise, slightly better weight distribution, and less heat in the engine bay, but I've heard a lot of mixed things about STS so I'll just wait this out for now.

It fits like it should have been there all along. Ford, are you listening?

The 4V 4.6 is so wide that I can't see how FI would work in that space, though. When fully built the thing is 4" wider than the old 429's were.
