FSWerks x2 (I'm only 30 min from their shop) but have known Randy and the crew there at FSWerks for 10+ years now. Everything about them is 'top shelf' from the products to the service to the customer service.

I have a question for Tom (or whoever can answer..)

Is there any way to flash the ECU without a pricey flasher?

Example: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.16921

This allows you to connect to the OBD-2 port via Bluetooth with a computer. Theoretically, it should be possible to load a tune file from a laptop with this cheap dongle.

I'm not looking for a free tune or anything, but it seems weird to spend $300+ on a piece of equipment you will only use once.

Tom's Tune!
I had a local shop Tune my car. (I won't name name's because they did give me a refund for the tune and I'd like to keep the relationship that we do have... ) They nearly blew my motor. Tom's Tune is night and day from the other guy's. His customer service is top notch!!!! My 0 to 60 dropped nearly a seccond with tom's tune. I'm not sure the power increase as I haven't had it on a dyno. All I know is it's awesome!

This Icon shows how it feels when you find you almost lost your motor from going to the "Other Guy" LOL

yeah it seams not many people know how to tune our cars, I was arguing locally with some "tuner" who was claiming that you can do s#$t to the focus. I gave him link to this forum and he shut up ;))
