I just ordered a tune from Randy at FSWerks. Haven't received it yet but he seemed to know what he was talking about over the phone and hes answered both my emails within the same day. I got a very good deal on the Xcal3 with 2 tunes from him for $360 shipped.
I'll let you know what I think after I receive it and upload it.
Just bought the car bone stock and only has an AEM intake so far.

Really the main thing is driveability and more predictable power curves. The SVT needs a offroad pipe or high flow cat to really open her up and plus having a xcal gives you way more room to upgrade in the future.

You may pick up 3-7whp just depends on the car.

The orp is $200 or $350 for a hfc from CFM, pretty pricey for an s shaped pipe. Plus it makes the car sound very loud and ricey is what I've read for 10 HP?

with the right exhaust it doesnt get rice at all. You could go custom or go with a stealth exhaust they are quite until you open her up. Make sure your running 2 6" round mufflers 14-20" in length 2.5" or better piping.

I'm not sure why I can't vote on this poll but at least wanted to add a comment. I just got Tom to tune my SVT and I love the way it drives now. It has more low end torque and much smoother acceleration. I am totally new to tuning and had to have Tom take over my computer and set up the configuration for the datalog. He was trying to get out the door to go to dinner with his wife for their anniversary but he spent a few minutes with me on the phone and got everything set up and even took a few extra minutes to look at how the car was running (Tom, I hope I did not get you in trouble for making your wife wait.) If you are debating on having a custom tune done and who to go with, I would highly recommend Tom.

I went with FSWERKS for my tune because I got a great deal on it. The car runs a lot better. Even though I went with them I think after picking Toms brain a little bit he knows these cars very well. He answered questions that Randy either didn't know the answers to or didn't want to tell me.
My vote goes for Tom even though I chose FSWERKS. If Tom would have had the same deal $360 shipped for an SCT I would have given him my money.

Who ever you choose I strongly recommend a tune as one of your first mods. The SVTF is a pig with the stock tune.
