You cannot go wrong with my tune

I own a SVT Focus and have been tuning to work out the bugs that I didnt like and have many customers that feel I have done that

I do all custom tunes , I offer FREE NA tune updates as you add more mods and no one else does this

I feel I have the best SVT tune there is for the Focus as it helps owning one and driving it daily to work out all the issues

Please let me know if I can help you further

Tom

Just a side note, this thread will NOT become another Tom vs Randy vs TS thread
there are plenty of tune reviews in the SVT Tune review thread thats located in this forum.

I don't have a tune yet but I'm going with Tom when I get one, I used FW on my 2000 SPI they did nice work but I'd like a tune from a guy who does exactly what he said. He drives a SVT daily and has worked out the bugs our weird cars have.

I think there are plenty of people that have both on both forums and both have supported reasons on why they went with one or the other. Your best option is to do research on each other's customer service, results, and overall satisfaction, as for price I wouldn't worry too much about it as they are both rather close in pricing and you only want to do what's best for your car when it comes to tuning.

Personally I went with another company, McNews Automotive, for a custom dyno tune and I am really pleased with everything about the tune. But if I were to purchase a remote tune, like I am soon for my third recently picked up Focus, I can honestly say I would go with FSWERKS as Randy and the team out there have always been stellar and have been active in the Focus game since before the Focus was out and not many tuners can say that. Their tuning is backed up and supported with years of proven performance and their customer service is top notch.

Hope that all helps.

I personally went with tom bc I wanted the tune to be the first mod I had, and with the free updates it is perfect in that case.

Sure price is important , With FREE updates and customers using this FREE option they saved or with the competition would of spent another 150 - $200.00 + over time

With FREE updates you dont have to worry about adding all the mods then getting a tune you can enjoy better driveability and performance from stock and with each mod as you add it

And all this from a tuner that has been tuning the Focus from the start with full custom tuning years before the competition

Owning a STV Focus doesnt hurt either

Thanks for the Customer support

Tom

I'll support the consensus that there is a lot of good info out there, and it really is down to personal choice.

For a street car that you are not pushing WOT on the track, I honestly doubt you can really tell much performance difference between the tunes anyway. Drivability and smoothness of midrange power delivery is what I personally would notice on a day to day basis. Granted that is an assumption, I haven't seen a dyno plot of the FSwerks tune, but I can't imagine there is a serious gain to be found between the two. If you were to add forced induction into the equation I would believe there can be a wider variation in performance of tunes based on things like tuning for peak power or tuning for midrange, or tuning to keep the torque curve flat.

If I end up running a tune I will likely go with Tom's based on his service and helpful advice. Since he already replied and offered to help, I'd definitely recommend contacting him and discussing it with him directly!
