dyno , stock, vs toms tune

ok guys, im tuning with tom at the moment, and he is busy fine tuning my tune for me, as ive just bought a wideband 02 sensor, and tom is adjusting the air fuel ratio for best results,

here is my question,

i have a tune from tom, thats miles better that stock, but to find out how much better it is, i want to dyno my stock map, is it a case of just returning my car to stock, and putting her on the dyne, or do i have to drive her for a few days, to get adjusted back to stock??

Ideally your suggestion would help the stock tune make minor adjustments or re-map so to speak.... but im not sure it matters or how much of a difference it would make. Even after you load Toms tune i believe the computer makes adjustments within certain paramaters like it does when its stock. Somone else probably knows more about it than i do but i would say it would make a difference if you allowed them time to re-learn after loading each tune.

Just reload the stock tune & drive it for a bit & then dyno it. Upload your custom tune & drive for a bit & dyno it & lets see your results. btw what mods do you have?
