2002 focus se

I just picked up my Focus for my son and drives good, i do see a few things i need to do 1st thing is replace the ignition cylinder and i am missing the front engine splash shield, i have done a search and all i find is one that goes under the radiator but it does not cover the drive belts, i know my son will drive through puddles so i want to fix that issue, anyone have the OEM part number? or any underside pics of what i am missing for hardware. also i am missing under hood decals how many are there? looks like the underside of hood was repainted.

Which body style you have helps with many questions, as does the engine type installed in the Car. Here's a link to help figure out the engine type for you:

http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=337457

Shield under the radiator you mentioned, and shields in the wheel well area are about it for these cars from the factory. Timing belt should have a cover, that one is seldom missing.

Someone may be able to help with the under hood decal info., which engine model determines the content of std. emissions/tune up label and vacuum hose routing label.

Luck

P.S. - Welcome to FF!

Accessory belt cover/splash guard
Ford part # YS4Z-6775-DA I think.
Held in by two 10mm bolts.

That cover/splash shield BC_ZX3 had the numbers for protects from splash coming from the right wheel well area.

There isn't a missing "lower engine cover" since these cars never had one.

The newest "MkIII" models have one, in the MkIII section there's a current thread dealing with complaints about snow accumulating on top of the cover (go figure).

Yeah, not much there from factory. I wasn't happy with lack of guard. So I bought some plexiglass, used some plumbers tape, duct tape and self tapping screws and fashioned my own. It ain't pretty, but it works great. Plowed through some good heavy slushy stuff today...And no squeal.

Looking up that part #, it's the center section of the plastic behind the front bumper. This is the part you mentioned in the first post, as plastic under the radiator.

This part would cover an area from the radiator to the bumper, doesn't go behind the radiator. That area is open, no 'cover" from the factory.
