Help with wiring question...
I have a 2000 focus se sedan i just completed an engine swap and ford is having trouble getting into the PATS system. They can get into the pcm and read codes and data. I have one ? I noticed that there must have been a mid year change in the wiring harness because where the PCM harness and the dash harness come together there is one extra pin used on the new wiring, than there was on the old wiring. so here is my ? if anyone has access to 2001 wiring diagram could you please let me know what the wire is.I have the 2000 ford focus factory wiring book and that pin was not used in 2000. it is on connector #62 pin #4 wire color is black w/ white tracer. thanks

figured out wiring problem...
hey, I figured out my problem. I need to replace my cluster with a 2001 cluster and run a new wire from pin 25 in the cluster to pin #4 on connector #C62 that is a switched ground wire controlled by the PCM. Once that is done i should be in great shape..
