Maine Forest Rally

I attended the Maine forest rally this weekend.ken blocks all wheel drive fiesta was really cool and there were also a 3 ford focus(two svt and one zx3.) my favorite cars were the Evos though.

I was totally there too! I was in the Rally America rig uploading videos for them all weekend. Very good rally, and the after party was off the hook!

yea the first leg of the race was at sunday river (bethel) and the second one was in Mexico maine.Yea i go to school for audio/video and i didn't even think of looking into shooting for the race; that must have been sweet.

Most rallies charge nothing to watch. There are, however, very limited viewing areas (blame the insurance company lawyers) so you don't get a lot of options to see the cars in action. If you do go, most rallies have a web site that should be checked for spectator instructions. A better way to see a rally is to volunteer. No skills or experience needed and you get to see the rally much closer. Once again check the web site on volunteering. Normally, it requires showing up a little early to get instructions, training and assignments. The regional rallies (the smaller ones) almost always are looking for lots of help. Most rallies also provide perks like a meal, snacks, or tickets to post rally parties.
