there is a SMF class, i just didn't want to be in a class by myself ,so i stayed in SM. what the heck right..lol
thanks for the props, i didn't think i was that quick till i saw the timming board. i know a few places where i could have gone a bit faster, like the first slalom i let off throttle a bit and should not have .. lol a little left foot braking in the second hairpin would've saved me a half second or so too. damn.

at least you know your mistakes! always gettin better, that's what's cool about autoX imo. i'm not sure if there are any SMF riders in my division either.. if i could afford boost right now, there would be one!

on average, how long do street tires last you? when used as daily/autocross tires.
i guess in seasons? one season?

the last time i ran my azenis rt 615's on track and street, i only got 1 season out of them.(about 9 months)
in the long run it's cheaper to run a separate set of wheels & tires

Yeppirs.
I went through 3 sets of tires (1 set Hankook R-S2 and 2 sets Falken RT-615) at less than 9,000 miles a set before I picked up a dedicated set of track wheels/tires.

this is exactly what i want to do crappy part is, my current tires are for daily&autoX driving.. and they will be dead by June i'm sure. so i need to replace those for sure, and i don't know if i can afford 1k-ish for an extra set up and then also spend 400 ish for some decent dd

you could run a set of stock 15" alloys, they can be had for next to nothing and they're only a hair over 15 lb.s . hell if you drove up here i'd just give you mine!
you can also buy take off tires with 50% tread for quit a bit less..$35-$60 each here http://www.jbracingtires.net/ if that helps.
just run a 205-50-15 they're very common size

incorrect.. all 00-04 non SVT models had a 20mm front sway with exception to the models you posted where as the SVT has a 21mm stock - not a huge difference but some people can feel the difference. I did added a piece together SVT suspension onto my 2000 ZX3 and I noticed a difference with the SVT front sway.

stockers could be an option, but i think i can afford a second set if i stop wasting my money on stupid things haha. they look a lil pinched on there too!

my tires got chewed the heck up today!! it was a blast though!
after our competition runs (my best comp run was 68.9 started with an 80 haha) we had fun runs/instruction runs and i had two very good drivers drive my car then come along with me and after that i put down a 64.9!! i'm hoping tomorrow for the second day of the event i can put that same time down or even better!

i was first in my class (ST) the other car was another subbie 2.5 RS i beat him by 1.5 seconds and that was WITH the 68.9 run, so i hope i can put down the lower time tomorrow and really show him who is boss!
