No numbers yet. I still need to go back for another session. I had a couple of bugs to work out.

I'm still working out a few small bugs. Had to order another new front o2 sensor cuz the last new one was not trimming out right. Also ordered and replaced the IACV for a ckt code. I was able to get it down to Fast Lane Turbo for a dyno tune and it is about 90% done for now until I have a chance to get down there again. It appears that Tom's tune was WAaaaaaay off the mark and now my car runs fine. Total waste of money hiring Tom.

Oh yeah, the rear main gave out again. I'm thinking that the mechanic got his finger oils on the seal and thus it gave out again. Gonna replace again at their expense since the work is under warranty. And while they're fixing that they will be custom fabbing an oil catch can so I can help draw out a little more crankcase pressure.

Other than these things she is running great and pulls like a bat outta hell!!!!! Should hopefully be dyno tuning the final end all by next week.

Note to you guys: Toms tunes are a waste of time, I've already wasted my money for you... No need to add to that expense.
Let me clear up a few things here , You stated above a new o2 was needed and that it wasent trimming correctly THIS IS A MUST FOR PROPER CLOSED LOOP TUNING which is the heart of good idle and driveability

You stated "I'm still working on the car but have not had the kind of time I need to really get into the nitty gritty like I want" this with other issues like bad o2 readings , time to spend tuning , oil leaks that stopped tuning ETC all come into play with the tune , we were at best 45 - 50% done with the tuning

I have done remote tuning for over 70+ Turbo cars now and ALL have stated an as good or better then stock driveability , you are the FIRST to state any issues with my tuning and I dont feel its fair to just my tune like you have done when the tune was not finished

please if these are not truithfull statements please post , to say it was a waste just isnt the case till the tune is finished , also why didnt you come to me if there were issues ? This is all news to me

Tom

I would think Remote tunes are pretty hard to figure in the world of FI.

His tune is good for the NA group but hard to hit it on the marker for FI, since he doesn't see the car and what it is doing. Only taking what you tell him.

Thank you , remote tuning works like this

I send a FI tune as a start up tune , with that I send a list of things to log , you log the startup file and send me the log (just lik on a dyno , I see the same thing in the log as if I was sitting at the car)

Then we do driveability , if the o2 isnt reading right or there is a vac leak then this is way off as in the case with mdgonzo101

Then we move to WOT , again I see the exact same logs as the dyno shop sees , and as stated I have dozens of happ customers with remote tuning

There were issues that havent been posted with his car and he knows this but I am not going to bash him back

Tom

I dont ! You didnt have a finsihed tune , you didnt have a good working o2 as you admitted to needing to change , you couldnt continue with the tuning because of oil leak issues , all this adds to how do you know what my tune would be when finished ????

Guys ... You need to take this issue into PMs ... no need to start anything in here.

This needs to be handled off the main forum.
