SCT benefit with less mods?

I'm considering an SCT tune, bit don't want to do very many power mods. At this time, I just have a Steeda intake 2.3L. I'm not terribly interested in anything else at this time. Will a 91 octane tune do much at this point? If I can gain a solid 5whp and a real shift light (the fuel saving to redline light) I'd be reasonably happy.

Its really worth it to have a reflash. Are you going to add a header later? Get the egr & rear 02 senser turned off. The 91 octane does make a difference. You can get your up shift light to the to whatever rpm shift you want.

I'm not entirely sure on the idea of a header. I may request one of the three tunes to have the EGR and rear 02 sensor turned off if I ever decide to add one.

If you delete the rear 02 senser, it wouldn't hurt at all. And delete the egr also. Later on if you add a header, your all set, if not no worries.

Still on the fence about a header. Don't want to deal with a louder car.
