You gonna move back to the swamp, Pat? Honestly, I like NoLa but the humidity is something to behold, especially in August. It makes it hard to breathe.

Why would they no longer be able to afford their home? If you own your payments are set depending on your financing rates(variable or fixed). Only an increase in the appraised value which would increase the property taxes would affect anything. If you lease/rent then that's another story.

Donald is correct ... your parents home shouldn't change much at all unless they are leasing the home.

Like for us, we have a set payment, the economy went down and we are still paying the same that we were originally quoted. My mother in laws home is right smack downtown, and where she is, it started to really boom over the past few years. No real change to her Mortgage either.

As for the rain ... YAY!!!!

We needed this badly.

Cooler air and rain just makes you wan to relax. So, Houston should be a bit more calm and stay home.

No rain here yet. So I didn't know I had spilt chocolate milk in my car, till I went to go to work last night. Needless to say after it sat in the car all day it had pungent odor.

I did take my seats out and wet vacuumed the hell out of it. I even got the water hose and hosed it down and sucked it all back up with the wet vac. This was after two tanks of shampoo. Now the car has a weird odor. It's like old car meets hint of spoiled milk? Just threw some baking soda in there, hopefully tomorrow the smell will be gone. I'm seriously considering ripping the whole carpet out of the car if it doesn't go away. It's no where near as bad but...I don't like rotten milk smells. I guess the next step would be some white vinegar.

I can guarantee I will never do that again.

Or you can try Odoban which comes in a spray or gallon and you can get it at Home Depot.

Maybe, trying to use what I have on hand. I don't have any cash in my account right now literally. Heck I may have to borrow money to go by some carb cleaner and some sealant to finish the SVT

I am accepting donation or loans. I get paid Thursday at 2 am but work the next week after that
