well no. see some super smart and oblivious ship peoples decided it would be an AWESOME idea to not only NAME the ship after titanic, but make it look exactly the same. AND that they would ALSO try to push the ship to its limits. because, you know, that was a good idea for the first one too.

but hold on man, titanic was hit by an iceberg just sittin there right? yeah? that's boring and not current. let's make some half-assed comments about the environment and global warming by having a giant chunk of glacier fall into the water. this creates a MEGA TSUNAMI which THROWS an iceberg at T2. you with me? yeah. suck it titanic.

this coupled with bad acting and even worse CGI makes for a real blockbuster experience.

this movie gives me the giggles. the two main characters are just running down a hallway when out of nowhere a passenger runs up to the guy like "IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT" and just starts beating the shit out of him. then he just kinda like... walks away

AND during the exterior shots you can see a city skyline in the reflection of the windows. hi-fudgin-larious.
