Where are You that You are eating the food I grew up on in Hawai'i? I must know so I can find this place next time I'm in Houston. More for the kalua pig than the spam musubi, I make those whenever I want, lol.

Hey J, you know they do roast pig here in Houston?

I use to eat that monthly as a kid. Roast pig on a spit, turning for over 7 hours.

Oh yeah. I am thinking about buying one for my BDay and enjoy my childhood memories.

And Paul ... I had to wipe my keyboard ...

Spit roasting is good, but cooked in the ground for a whole day is just amazing. The meat almost melts on Your tongue. Damn, I'm hungry now. Going to have to make chicken adobo for dinner, thanks to all this food talk.

I have a friend's dad that I went to high school with tonight. Poor guy has serious heart issues. Of course smoking 2 packs a day for 35 years will do that to you. I'm trying to make him comfortable has I can. This guy is also the guy that kept my friend at the county jail instead of him serving his time in the pen. Great guy, just wished he took better care of himself.

Too bad. My God Father passed away a few months ago and when they took his drinkin and his driving away he was gone in less than 3 months. What folks do to themselves is part of who they are. I can understand the smoking think, I quit 5 years ago and have been way more healthier for it (less my weight gain) Wish you luck tonight.
