I gotta say the worst part about selling a house is the constant upkeep with kids and my hubby gone to another state its just awesome to do it all myself! lol

Jason, let's do it! It is only now, years after graduating, that I appreciate the sacrifices my parents made and hard work they put into getting me into private schools. From K to 12, I only went to public schools for 1st and 8th grade. And maybe it was a coincidence, but 8th grade was one of the worst years of my life. Also, I can't remember anything that I learned that year (if anything at all). And AFTER 4 years of a private high school, going to a public college and seeing the product of the OTHER system, eyes were opened. I mean, the fact that at the college level there are remedial math and reading classes is just ridiculous. How does someone graduate from high school not knowing how to read or add? I don't know. Plus the way my brothers have been treated throughout their school career, thinking of school puts me into a passionate rage. (They both have learning disabilities)

Paul, I hope your house sells! I kinda skimmed through the thread and noticed some things about going places and lying to your wife and driving a lot... Not sure what that's about!

Tom: Patron. It's what's for dinner.

Avie: Sup girl!

Also speaking of getting numbers and junk, I am thinking of asking this one chick in my class out. Cute Indian-ish girl. Probably out of my league. But she's the only single hottie I have immediate access to!
I can certainly relate. I spent My Elementary years(K-7, actually) in private schools, and to this day am convinced that I learned more in the first 8 years than I learned any time after that(not counting BCT, that was all new and all-important). I kicked ass through HS, but also found Myself with too much spare time on My hands, which allowed My to be a trouble maker of sorts. Oh, and as for the remedial college classes, You can lay the blame solidly at the feet of "No child left behind". Probably the second worst thing to ever happen to the System as We know it. The first being the formation of the Countrys' first Federalized Workers Union. But that's a completely different can of worms, lol.

Yup. It has always bothered Me that Americans would allow the Federal Government (which has proven it is incapable of showing a profit in ANY of its' ventures to-date) to control the Department of "Education"(read: indoctrination), thus bankrupting Our children's minds like everything the Fed Gov't touches. Knowledge is still power, no matter what a teacher tells You, lol. We have a world of knowledge literally at Our fingertips, yet somehow, inexplicably, We(as a Species, it seems) have no sense of common sense or common knowledge, and We let bureaucrats determine the future of Our Society through a complete failure to educate Our kids effectively.
