My bad, thought you liked it. Didn't know it was supercharged. Guess that's what the S is for. So it's heavier? Being so small would of thought it was lighter. Any idea how much power the S puts out? Figured you'd be able to take one.

Donald, I don't know what her cooper puts out. My mother in law say's it's got the works? I don't know if that mean it's a Cooper S w/ the works (it was a performance package that bumps the hp from the stock 160 up to 200). All I know is it pulls and pulls hard from 5-7k rpm. Though it never feels very weak anywhere else besides right off idle. Just give some gas and let the TQ move the car. I've always wanted to race against it, especially now with my current mods. I will say this, right now my car "feels" faster than that cooper. Has soon has you let off the clutch in my car it wants to "go" where the cooper as to think about it then moves off.


Oh and every time I drive the cooper it just makes me want a SVTF that much more. They have the same tranny, same gearing everything. Driving it makes me wish I had that tranny, it's great for normal driving, running through the gears, and it's also what gives the SVTF it's wonderful top end power with the close gearing in the 2-5th gears. Sucks for drag racing though.

Damn 160hp bumped to 200 hp. Had no idea they had that much power. Man i wish my car had more power......all in due time. Gotta due the timing belt thing then back to my suspension mods, wheels then power.

T-belt is easy, just bring it to me. And that power is at the wheels too. They are rated for what 163hp at the flywheel, but when dyno'd they put down 160 to the wheels. They are some of the few cars that put down more than what they are rated for, like the SRT4's.

Donald if I was you I'd go turbo or super charger or don't even try at all j/k. Though yours being an auto really sucks the power. Even if you put all the mods I have on your car. My car would probably still beat yours. I hate how ford's auto's suck so much power.

Hmmm now you got me thinking. We could change your belt tomorrow and bring me the dogbone? Wait...Raymond has my timing belt bar and pin. We need that to do the timing belt. Anyways I'm off tomorrow, unsure if I should go to sleep or stay up all day?

Would like to convert eventually to mtx. Have seen parts for everything are around $1500 or so. That's half the price of a Lentech auto. Even if i went just regular rebuild or new/rebuilt install it would cost about the same as the conversion. I plan to keep my car awhile so turbo.....maybe.

Tom (FF Tom not turbo) the "maker" in the C3PO talk had a auto with a turbo. He liked it. It would feel like it has a lot bigger motor under the hood mated to the auto. Though then you would run the chance of the auto crapping out on you. Of course that all depends on how you treat it.




Well just started watching "Casino Jack" with Kevin Spacey in it. So far it's pretty good, of course I just like Kevin Spacey as an actor ever since I saw American Beauty (FTW one of my favorite movies of all time)
