I'm officially back boys! I picked up the focus last night and it drives great! I was able to get the CFM Tubular Control Arms installed, and the rebuilt tranny shifts so nicely. The CFM underdrive pulleys are still sitting new in the box, I'm just waiting to get a new serpentine belt so I can install them. The VFM engine mounts are on the way. I'm so Excited to have it back I drove it to work with some super expired tags!

the pulleys are awesome. i have the massive version.. and it just frees up the motor a tad.

I had it rebuilt at my dads shop they do everything with auto repair, but they specialize in transmission repair.

Been busy with the family and the Mini Cooper here. Got the trans in the Mini and I must say it was a lot easier mating together than the SVT was. It's still pieces though as I have to order some shift cables for it. The old one was dry rotted and the rubber separated from the linkage. I tried gluing it back on but it won't stay. Unlike the focus which has plenty of room under the hood to stick your down into the bay to pop them back on the Mini does not. So going to put some new ones on it. My mother in law wants to sell it so I'm sure it's going on the market as soon as I'm done with it. She asked me if I wanted it which I do, but I told her if I get it I'm just going to resell it. No way in hell would my wife let me have yet another car lol

Oh as far as rotors go. I got mine for Ole' Yeller' from Summit, and it was their brand too. I think they were the cheapest at the time. If I was going to do it over again I'd probably just get the Power Stop rotor and pad kit from Rockauto. Can't really go wrong with them and the price is a great deal. The only problem I have with buying brake parts online is I can't just walk up into a store and warranty them out like I just did for our Oddy.
