Not even going to bother with it. I have the correct one now so as long as the rear main seal and oil pan gasket doesn't leak I should have any problems. If it does leak y'all will see a grown man cry. I don't want to have to drop the trans again if I don't have too just to replace a damn seal.

So.. came back home from work around 7pm.... went to garage to work on my SVT.... surprise - garage door is fracked. Spent 3 hours fighting with the door and not even a minute with my foci :(

Curious thing.... there was a bunch of family and friends, most of the guys went out to see what's going on with the garage door, and they were so happy to jump on wrenching - I was the only one to notice that piece of paper with red triangle and exclamation mark sticked to the tension spring mechanism. And surely it did mention that the spring is under EXTREME tension and can cause serious injury or death.
Took me a while to deal with it, but was thinking all the time what would happen if I wasn't there and someone from the crowd at home would decide to just play with it and mess around with the spring.

Be very careful with those springs, in fact I recommend calling a garage door guy out to deal with it. Our spring broke twice and on the second time we asked them what we can do to stop them from breaking after so many years or uses. He said the springs are rated to so many times they can rotate till they break. We had the cheap one which was rated for hardly nothing. We also asked why the garage door opener was so loud. He said it was a lot of door to lift and that installing a second spring would help them to last longer and not put so much pressure on the opener. So that's what we did, and man oh man what a difference it made. You used to be able to hear across the house when the garage door was opened or closed, and now you can barely hear it. It's so much quieter and it's already been a few years since we've had it installed which is typically when it would break. Oh and it broke the second time when we were in the garage. Talk about scaring the poo poo out of you lol

I need to align the "safety sensor" for mine. It doesn't want to work smoothly

Been there done that as well. Sometimes something will fall on them and I have to realign them.
