The energy suspension one is the cheaper alternative but doesn't hold near as well.

end links... piece of cake...
take off wheel.. and then it bolts to the strut on one end and the sway bar on the bottom end of it..

top hat... still moderately easy...
take off wheel...
remove strut assemble (3 bolts on top... one bolt behind knuckle on back side.. undo the sway bar end link as above)
then get spring compressor
compress spring,
undo nut on top of strut shaft.
replace with new strut mount.
reinstall in reverse order

it is usually good to replace both strut mounts if you are doing one. they tend to wear out.

alright, the sell thread is up for the SVT front brake conversion kit with lots of new parts. For local sale price is negotiable, maybe can even part it out.

If you are selling your front brakes how are you going to drive the car Chris? You will still need to replace them to get her back on the road.....right???

Trying to get some pics off of my phone. I had a whole ordeal putting a new rear main seal on the SVT. Turns out I really didn't need to replace it since I found out for sure that the slave cylinder/ throw out bearing on the SVT was the wrong one. It was definitly meant for the 5 speed, the bore was .2" bigger than the SVT's which is why all the tranny fluid leaked onto the clutch. I have pics of the carnage that it did to the clutch. It was missing most of the friction material on one side of it, just like the previous clutch that was in it though I think that was from wear and not from a fluid leak.

Well that sucks Paul.

Oan I ordered some Moog strut mounts w/bearings from RockAuto. Once they get here I can assemble my struts :). Then it will be time shortly thereafter for low.
