At the last track meet we had here years ago I could beat Tom's Saleen, before he went turbo of course. We need to have another Track meet. As far as I know I'm still the fastest in the 1/4mi in our group. Of course Ole' Yeller' needs a little dyno tuning time for the new cams, retuned ECU, and oil leak fix since it's getting a tad long in the tooth. Daniel was able to start pulling away from at the last meet on the Houston Autobahn and the little fun we had from a dig was the beginning of my horrible bog low idle high load lean issue that I'm having/had. I have more excuses if needed too lol. I seriously want to go back to the track though.

I would love to take the ST around a track. I love corners. Im not so much fond about the straight line per say.

There is this little road that comes off the main road to our house, cuts back behind a school and some restaurants by our house and spits you out into their parking lot. Its literally 1/4 of a mile long but its a nice little set of chicanes. Its fun to bust through there.....especially when people are out behind the businesses looking at you like WTF is this guy doing? Does he think hes in an actual race??

And I think right back at them....why yes...yes I do!

You should look into AutoX.

I am actually thinking about popping up at the Austin AutoX events one day. Only because out of the whole state ... that area has some of the best drivers and Houston drivers coming in with a close second group of good drivers.

I want to go up and get a different challenge out of the racers in Austin.

I think my problem is that I still can't decide whether I should make it fast, or keep driving it like the Caddy I can't afford..
