I'm trying to wire up a Kenwood head unit. I wired all the speakers, and I'm 99% sure those are right, but I can not get power to it at all. There is an orange wire on the harness that seems to go to nothing, but when I touch it to the red one, all my dash lights illuminate.
Anyways, spent the whole day trying to wire it and just can't:(

The orange is the dimmer wire, if I'm not mistaken.

I don't have mine connected

Sounds like you either have a power wire wrong or the accessory wire .

According to my voltmeter, the power wire for it isn't getting any power in it. No idea why. I replaced like 10 different fuses yesterday too lol. That orange wire is the only thing getting any power.

Is there maybe any other place I could draw power from? Perhaps hardwire of some sort?

Makes me a sad panda.

I have the complete Ford Racing Spring/Damper kit for the '07-11 Focus for sale if you're looking. I'll make you a pretty sweet deal on it to get it out of my garage.
