Only problem with tucking the carpet is the jagged edges of the wood, they aren't exactly even all around and the insulation they used to seal it all up is hard to work around and get a good level surface.

It's an actual wooden floor with a laminate on top, got it for like $40 and have some left over.

I've spent too long looking into the abyss. It's starting to look back.

very nice looking.... good idea for a clean look.... i should do something like that to mine, since i have no carpet in my trunk at all.... tree limb fell on car about 2 yrs ago, during hurricane, knocked out back window, and got the entire trunk full of water, so i had to pull it all and pop out drain plug in trunk to drain it... and replaced the rear deck with new carpet, so it wouldnt mold....

Depends on how deep the scratches are, may need a little work but not much basically sand and prep from what it looks like.

so i have my pc set up on Amber's 32" lcd tv with surround sound going... soo much fun. and so much easier to read than my 4.3" phone screen. hahahaha... youtube for hours... and still have a screen big enough to read threads...

dont tuck them go get carpet trim (lol not that kind) you know when you have carpet going into tile or hardwood they have that silver or palstic or brass trim that covers up the yuck.
i like it it i might steal the idea for my hatch
