Dang, I wanted to make it tonight to meet yall guys and hang out and learn more on the Focus, but I didnt get mine out of the shop til about 6p. I had to get the A/C system redone, cuz the compressor went out on me. I was goin to do the work myself, but since right now this is my only vehicle, I had to let shop do it, plus my back doctor told me i couldnt be crawling under cars right now. I have 4 disc's in my lower back that are about to Rupture.

Hopefully I can make the next meet-up. Its kewl to meet some local guys. Plus this being my first Focus ever, I can learn some things on it.

Question: does the SVT manual trans work on a SE Sedan Zetec? Are they the same trans or will it even bolt up or is it just not worth the trouble?

Im thinking about buying this, think its worth it? Zetec Header, shifter w/knob, Valve Cover and Insert, $100 for everything is what the guy said he'd give it to me for, http://houston.craigslist.org/pts/2972705060.html

I just mainly want a header, if it will fit my 01 Zetec, if its an improvement on power, and will bolt-in.

Might find out which header it is. Would be better than stock but some have fitment and quality issues. You would also need different cat or an orp since zetec cat wont work with that header.

ok, thanks... that sux... im tryin to find a good tranny for my SE. I dont want to spend a grand or more to rebuild it. the fork inside tranny bent for 1st gear, i finally got it to where it'll go into 1st again, but alot of times it grinds, so its either spend $1000+ on rebuilding it or find a good used one for cheaper.

If I'm goin to put header on the car, im goin to upgrade the cat and rest of the exhaust, too.... I need some more power out of this car. Ive also been talking with 1turbofocus about getting a SCT XCAL3 and tuning the car.

I already have CAI which im putting on this weekend, hopefully. And im wanting to remove the EGR and rear 02 Sensor.
