already have a trip to harbor freight for the hole saw planned. 15 bucks for a 18pc hole saw kit. sizes varying from .5" up to 5"

I use the first option u posted where I work on our cable trays. I would look for something that's a complete circle already so u won't have that place where they meet u know what I mean? If u use any of the ones u posted then u will have to cut them and when installed u will have that line where they meet.

HARBOR FREIGHT!! LOL, love that store!

FocusFreak, I think if he put the butt at the bottom and cut them at the right angle, it won't look too bad. Hell, with 5 ft, he'll have plenty of material to get the angle and length just right, too!

I'd probably go with the neoprene.... it would probably be a whole lot easier to form into the circle you want.

PS... I think this exhaust exit is a cool ass idea!

i would prefer something already round, but hey, haven't been able to find anything and this looks like it might work pretty well. hell, i could maybe cut it at an angle and then melt the two together.

and thanks.

Yep, same stuff they sell on the grill site. As far as the ends butting together you can always seal it a bit with black rtv to fill any gap there may be and just wipe smooth.

thanks,
if i use this site, i might do something with these
http://www.foxtaillights.com/42618--4-inch-g.html

http://www.foxtaillights.com/v7009-4...ome-70094.html

8 bucks + shipping
naturally, i would paint the chrome black.

edit:
after looking at these again, they seem to have to be on a flat surface, and the bumper is curved in that area. so these might be out.
still a good idea, esp if i just move where i want the exhaust to exit.
thanks again Jeremy
