How cold was it for y'all? I haven't done anything in this weather beside putting the ORP and Flex on cause I couldn't wait and even then it was on one of our better but not perfect days for weather.
I still need to install my wide band and data log but now I'm going to wait for the CF gauge pods I bought in the BST area for that. I was just going to zip tie it to the steering column but now I'll wait for a cleaner install lol
Brakes seemed to have improved abit today. Noticed better bite when driving around. Guess as the pads and rotors get fully broke in the bite will be even better.
Was going to order Rieger front bumper Friday but now I think I will use part of that money to order the pair of rear spindles w/hubs and the rear rotors so I will have everything I need to do the rear disc brake conversion once rebuilt and painted. Will still have a little more than half the money for the bumper and the rest come the following check
It took a while for mine to bed in too, must be all that paint they sprayed on them at the factory? Yours looked like they had hella over spray on them, more so than mine did.
I'm still running drums in the back of Ole" Yeller but it's brakes feel better than the SVT's. To be fair though the SVT is still sporting the brakes that the previous owner put on there and it's only running one SS brake line in the back right lol
woohoo..
just found out my arc welder is capable of welding 3/8" stainless steel...
so i can get my exhaust welded up instead of having the slip fittings. [grinking]
i have the flanges and gaskets.. still need to get the tip portion bent to fit..
looks like the race pipe part of the exhaust is going back on. hahaha
Nice bro, I went out and gave my red one to a friend and picked up the Zelda one..... is that a skin? if so nice job on putting it on..... if not didnt know they made a Yoshi edition.
Let me know if you need help setting up the DSTWO flashcart
Get Bravely Default if you havent already, its insanely good.
This weather blows!!!! Now that it rained again I have to drive through the mud slush road that's under construction in the neighborhood for at least a day or two until it dries abit and they regrade and compact the road again on Monday. Be nice to finally have concrete roads.
Well I got those turbo parts in. Looks like I won't be able to use as much of the kit as I thought I would. I'm even thinking about starting over and selling the header and turbo adapter? Not sure what I want to do. The down pipe is just tiny and the turbo, my god the turbo is the cutest little thing you ever saw hahaha.
Thinking I may buy another manifold and down pipe that will just bolt onto a T3 turbo. I'm also thinking I may throw this kit onto Ole' Yeller since I know with tuning I can make the same power as if I did head work to it. The main problem with this kit back in the day was the lack of tuning for it, but we all know that's been addressed.
