Need assistance for Texas Registration
what are they going to look for on the vehicle inspection?
what is this title form thing all about... foMoCredit still owns my focus... i guess im just uneasy because of my window tint and the vehicle inspection. any help would be great! |

Just tell them the tint is stock. You'll be fine. They will probably check to see if you have an illegal exhaust. I.E. an off road pipe. If the only thing you have done is tint, you'll pass.
This is the first time i've posted in this forum..... I miss Texas SooooOOOoooOoo bad!

If u have tinted tails u won't pass unless the guy doesn't care, as for window tint, if they think its illegal they will test it and u won't pass til u fix it unless u go somewhere else.

Unless your tails are visible at 500 ft or more. Then by standard, you would pass. But otherwise, you may have some convincing to do.

i cut the lunchbox off the exhaust but im not worried about that. the tint on the windows i can easily say it came like that when i bought it in colorado now that i think about it... its not that dark. i do have a banner on the windshield but if necessary ill remove it, no big deal it was only like 10 bucks

i get my inspection for 60 cash cause i have a 3'' orp and back, CEL on, no rear bumper and no turn signals up front haha

You'll be fine, promise.
It's just a simple OBDII and gas cap compression test on cars Our age. Every once in awhile, You might come across a tard who will trip over tint, but they are pretty rare. Plus, if on the off-chance You do fail, You don't have to pay again when You retest. |

if your THAT worried about your tint...
roll the windows down, pull the fuse. sorry, sir, the windows are broken, i just dont drive it in the rain. they CANNOT fail you for windows being broken......
