Anyone who wants to give this a try...I've got a pair of gray cloth headrests and two pairs of headrest pegs you can have for the cost of postage! I'm just going to chuck them out otherwise.

No, no, no. They must be the rear headrests and pegs. The width between the metal rods on the rear headrests is more narrow compared to the front headrests. I thought I could get away with using my spare headrests, but it was a no-go.

So where do you get read head rest? My 2000 doesn't have them. I just bought a leather seat kit, which has rear head rest covers, but they are the same size as the front head rest. When I look at new Focuses, they have 3 head rest back there, but they are much smaller. I'm trying to decide whether to get three of those and order smaller covers (more $$$) or try to find full size rears. Which Sedan models had the full size rear hear rest?

I got mine out of a 2001 LX that had side airbags. At first I thought that only the Street edition sedans came with them (the ones with the zx3 side skirts, flat black front lip, and flat black rear bumper lip) as there's a blue Street edition that goes to my school. That assumption was broken when I saw that LX sedan with rear headrests. I think it would be safe to say that the rear headrests only came as an option on 00-01 model years with teh exception of the SVT.

The rear headrests I have is roughly the same size as the front ones, but it's like I said, the metal rods have a narrower width for the rear compared to the front.

I don't know if the newer ones would fit, but if you find any rear headrests from 00-07 I can bet money that it would all fit the same, whether it be from a zx3, zx5, wagon, sedan, or svt.

I have a sedan, so where the latch is is pretty much between the two posts of where the rear headrests would be, so i just stuck my finger in and felt around

I think if you just poke the top of the seat hard enough you should be able to feel the hole in the foam, not that hard to find really.

The 2 big ones should already have the hole there, but the hole for the center headrest would need to be cut into the foam, but the holes are already in the metal seat pan.
