It's the largest cruise on the planet.
Good call. I'll look forward to seeing this ride at the Dream Cruise.

I built the whole setup, its a manual rack conversion with a modified front crossmember. The steering shaft uses billet joints and rides on two aluminum rod ends. The column clamps to the dash bar and is fully adjustable. The steering wheel is from the Ford Racing FR500C Mustang.

Yes, I didn't have an answer for the manual steering dilema when I bought the delete pulley. I had actually installed the power rack and was just going to loop a hyd line. Dom came through with this real nice setup. He pulled it out of the van and I said -Yes I'll take it all! It solved a lot of my issues all at once. Thanks Dom. On the personal note Melissa is buying a house- it has a 20'x70' garage. Concrete floor and heat, there is a 78 Ford King Cobra II Mustang in it, I think she'll get to keep. I'm hyped, it's with the lawyers now.

Picked up the paint... now going with a 2 stage PPG Deltron 2000 base coat/clear coat system. First time with a 2 stage and with the SATA HVLP gun I borrowed, fingers crossed.

Great thread, awesome car. We started our builts about the same time, been following your thread, and have it delayed and over budget a few times as well, but already painted and putting everything back on, should be no more than 2 weeks to fire up.
Good luck!!

Thanks, and best of luck with your build, any pics? I should be done in two weeks too. I sprayed the base coat on the fenders\bumper\ and trim yesterday. So all the non white parts are now white. Had a senior moment and sprayed two pass side fenders, going to spray two drivers today so I'll have a spare set. the paint went on real nice. The last time I tried a HVLP I couldn't get the spray pattern I got yesterday. It really turned out nice. Plan is to bolt it up and respray entire car at one time. I need to get some 3m double sided tape for the door trim, it's .4" wide. The front bumper I may spray seperate as it's hard to get all the areas even laying flat on a table. I also may spray the CF hood white.

Thanks! The ports do not match though, doing an angle port spacer right now to fit it.
