Wow looks great. Did you weigh the car before and after the cage? Just wondering how much the cage added.

Thanks for all the words of encouragement!
Not much love for the SC. Well first I got the kit at a great price, complete with tune/ polished, the best kit they sold. Second I have a 11sec turbo car already so SC is something different. I'm not looking for big power more interested in fast and nimble. Third Eddie has the big HP turbo Focus (vid in other post) so it'll be fun to compare. The body in white: It's one of ten BIW's sold to Jack Roush way back in 2000, who had cages put in all of them. At the time Ford was selling the BIW's for $3500 and you had to fill out a racing application and apply. Roush sold this one to a guy running a Focus SCCA World Challenge car, who bought it as a back up. He had it on Ebay back in 2004 when I bought it and I've had it parked in a barn since. Since this was made SCCA changed the rule on the main hoop; vertical and horizontal bar placement so as it sits I would need to change those two bars around to run SCCA. Not a big deal and I may do it later. I plan to run a local track and PDA/EMRA events who don't have the same rule. So I plan for it to be a club racer. This build will be ready for April, no problem...it's a clean blank canvas ready to go. All factory mounting locations are in place as are all the parts available for a complete build and then some, plus he's/we've done this type of thing several times.
