No. I realize there may be some risk but I have a spare 26k motor. This has been the plan all along and why I didn't start with the low mileage motor. My local track sells all the different race fuels so cost is the only drawback.

Looking awesome Dan! Can't believe I haven't seen this thread until now! I've got my SVT almost in a state where I don't have to worry about stuff breaking... lol... so I'll have to come visit one of these days and lend a hand.

Yeah, actually have the whole car, was hit in rear. Low mileage salvaged SVT's don't come by any more. Latetly they all have over 100k.

Car looks awesome! cant wait to see it going around a track. I take it its not door to door racing? if it is, i sure wouldnt have svt parts on it if there is any chance of damaging them... car is really coming along, i just read the whole thing and im impressed. If there is any way i can help, let me know

Thanks, yes we run door to door but no one wants to wreck for a bowling trophy. That's one long read for one sitting. Kinda why I keep it to a pictorial. Thanks for the offer; if you were local you'd be welcome. Today we had Seth, Bobb and Anthony over to lend a hand. That's Seth cutting the lexan. Bobb hung the fenders and mounted the upper radiator support. I put the rear spoiler on and helped cut the lexan. We had three pizzas
Peperoni/ham, peperoni/halipeno, onion/shrooms. So we're having fun with it. I'm lucky to have friends with opposing opinions, car is turning out better by letting others run with their ideas.
