Auto trans vibrations

Alright heres my problem. I have an automatic 01 focus. When it shifts around 35-40 it tends to vibrate sometimes almost violently. I took it in to a mechanic and took him for a drive in it and he seemed sure that it was the torque converter. Had that replaced and it still is doing this. I don't know much about cars so i am completely baffled and frustrated with the money i put into it and still no fix. Any possibilities would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

I guess i should have stated that the motor mounts have just been replaced also and are still good. Doesn't vibrate at all while idling. Only when it shifts at around 35-40.
