Auto cross!
so this weekend i will be doing an auto cross event with my focus, is there any advice or things i should do to it before i head off to swerve around cones and such? normally i drive my porsche 914 but its away for the winter and this is the last event for the season. Thanks!

^^Nothing other then what you would normally do with the 914. Make sure with the Focus you have a good amount of air in the tires. Your probably going to have to play with the pressures since your not used to autoxing the focus

alright i will make sure of that, haha i'm a little nervous, in the 914 you simply sin out if your cornering too hard. i don't want to flip the focus or anything

^^haha.. in my SVT i just drift.. You will be fighting the wheel a lot more. Lots of Under steer. You can counter some of it by bringing your wheel back a bit and the car will bite.

alright, so as long as i'm not going like ridiculously fast nothing bad involving two wheeling it will happen right? it's my DD but i don't usually drive it like i would AX lol

If you go into a corner too fast your likely to go straight, plow. My SVT has been on three wheels with r-comps, never on two.

Depending on how fast your course is, either turn overdrive off or use second gear on your transmission.
