Question spark plug gap?

getting ready to change my spark plugs and i was wondering what i should gap it to? the guy at advance said .040 but i wanted to check with all of you first.

thanks. i did do a search but i kept getting different answers like .060 .065 .051 so just wanted to make sure first. BTW is this a search feature?

if you get aftermarket wires and copper plugs on an N/A build you can gap anywhere between .055 ans .060 dont go any bigger

I went .055" and it made my idle a little smoother but top end was negatively affected. Went back to stock gap and it was fine.

i did stock with new wires(not performance) and it was like night and day when it was idleing and when i turned it on. it was like turning the key to a new car...lol..getting ready to drive it now to see how she does.

you can always gap more, so if its running crappy, gap it a bit more until it runs great. if you don't care about wasting up to 20 bucks in plugs, just keep gapping them till you run great, then over gap them till it runs crappy again, then you could actually find where the sweet spot is!! then get a new set and put it tothat gap. but usually very little gapping is needed

I'm running the plugs below with the MSD coil and wires. I'm N/A, but do have a 75hp wet shot of nitrous, what gap you guys suggest?
