it's not that i'm not happy with it, it's just a swap that is more trouble than it's worth. still a blast to drive and an improvement from the Zetec but better gains can be had from a turbo/SC.



I've had 6 pm's about this so i thought i'd update what was done.

98-01 front European bumper with shaved bumper signals
98-01 front European rubber lip
Trend upper and lower grills
European Glass fogs with 3000k HIDs
98-01 rear European bumper with smoothed bottom valance and shaved exhaust notch.
Smoked European Tails **not installed for pics**
Smoked UK rear bumper lights
Modified exhaust turn-down
previously installed parts:
European fenders with Clear(soon to be smoked) markers
ST170 headlights with 4300K HIDs
European Chrome hatchstrip
R/S collection hatch wing
00 NA textured sideskirts
European Folding mirrors

yeah the V6 swap is NOT worth it.

i know it looks cool but doing it on my car has caused so many headaches and it's been soooo $$$$$$.

I've put way to much money into the swap, for how much i've spent i probably could've had a REALLY nice boosted Zetec and a whole lot of other mods that i've been wanting to do.

hmm. i ahve the same year jetta in my drive. but it doesnt ru nat all. (duno why it jsut quit workin period. ) but your car is really nice. and it inspiried me to find some chromies (17" svtf five spokes in chrome straight from ford) i'm not one for a lot of body nods but i like the work i see on this car.
